There's a (surprisingly) really good independent pizza joint that delivers, and we also have plenty of counter space for potluck stuff. Pasta is also good (and cheap) as an option. We can just take the majority vote on the food thing, so Cassia doesn't have to stress :) Are we planning on around 7:00 or 7:30? If anyone wants to show up as early as 6:30, that's cool, too. Kathleen Schroeder-LaPorte stareyed@u.washington.edu The directions look long, but I like to be thorough. If anyone has any problems, call me at (work)543-6788 or (home)788-4978. I can also put a map in the box at the HUB, for those who don't like written directions. DIRECTIONS: >From the U/downtown: Get on the 520 EAST. Go over the bridge, through Bellevue and to Redmond. After you pass over Marymoor park (the place with all the soccer fields and lights on the right hand side), the freeway will end at a stoplight (crossstreet is Redmond Way). Go STRAIGHT through the stoplight. You are now on Avondale Road. Follow it past the Target store and through two stoplights. JUST BEFORE the third stoplight, there is a sign on the right that says: Novelty Hill Road. Take the fork that the arrow points to (also on the right). Stay on Novelty Hill until it ENDS (a couple of miles). At this point, you must go either right or left on Snoqualmie Valley Road. Go LEFT. Follow this past the T street on the right, and go until you get to the first CROSS street (Woodinville-Duvall Road). Go RIGHT. Wood-Duvall looks like it ends at a stoplight just across the bridge. But if you take a little jog to the left, you can go straight up the (big) hill. Follow it up to the top, where the street kind of levels off (about 4 crossstreets) and turn LEFT on 3rd Ave. After you pass a couple of (close)streets, you'll come upon a sign on the right which says "Cherry Brooke" (a cookie-cutter housing thing). Take the next right (a cul-de-sac), on NE 163rd Street. We are in this cul-de-sac, and our long driveway is about half-way down on the left just after the mailboxes. We are on the right side of the driveway, and the house is yellow-ish with a blue door. The Address: 26828 NE 163rd Street You can park in the driveway at the bottom, since we don't have any next-door neighbor yet:) .
