I think we'll need a world map - we got a bunch of new members from elsewhere than WA. I have gotten some flak about it, locals hoped that we would talk more about WA issues. I tried that for about 6 months and they couldn't think of anything to say/ask so now we expanded to the world. I hope WA locals will see that there are a lot of people elsewhere that have already invented the wheel for them. I don;t know about the little flyouts with names, I have had no complaints but lately people in this state are overdoing it (in my opinion) on privacy concerns. Of course I am afraid that everyone will get so secure and anonymous that discussion will shut down completely. Oh well. We are trying to set up a www site. Your contribution is of course always welcome. I have no idea what the skill level is out there - certainly lower than the other GIS listserves. More professionals like yourself are needed. The www site is part of a WA public health oriented www site but I want to have a section that features work from other locales. Again, thanks. Richard E.
