WARNING: Apart from the fact that the German filmmaker mentioned below
has been discussed on postings to the Classics list, this message lacks
classical content.  Sorry.  I just couldn't resist sharing these
remarkable facts garnered from the March 10 issue of "Time" magazine:

1) Last week a helicopter crashed in the Sudan.  Among the passengers
was Leni Riefenstahl, age 97.  She was working on an update of her
project on the Nuba people.  It will surprise no one to learn that
she survived with only minor injuries. ("Time"'s cute caption is:
"She is One Tough Teuton.")

2) What *may* surprise you to learn is that Jodie Foster is currently
developing a film on the life of Leni Riefenstahl.  Who will play Leni?
Jodie, of course.

We still live in an interesting world, do we not?
