There is a = manuscript of the Iliad (c. 1300) and a manuscript of the Aenead--I = think it was 14th century--with illustrations, but only one of them was = visible and that was wrongly described in the accompanying card.. = Unfortunately the papyrus copies of Menander's Dyscolus and John's = Gospel are not included in this exhibit. The most piquant item is = actually Leibniz' copy of Newton's Principia, extensively annotated by = GWF, that the library of the University of Goettingen decided was an = unneeded duplicate and sold to Bodmer in 1926.
