Basically the program is for 6 weeks (plus 2 weeks of training) and the person would be a "summer missionary". (I think they have to raise like $750 for food and housing for the summer) The person would be educating kids (age 9+) in a summer academic enrichment program for mostly african american and latino kids who are struggling. It is a 3:1 ratio. Jun 12th-Aug 15. It is a really cool program where there is a lot of great training and team building (like 20 volunteers on the team).
