I was wondering what you all thought of her thesis which divides the ancient mind between logos and mythos. I found her argument unsubstantiated by any ancient evidence. For instance, where would magic, omens, sudden deaths, or earthquakes fall? To suggest that the ancients went around shifting gears from logos-thinking to mythos-thinking was hard for me to swallow. Any thoughts?
