The National School-to-Work Office will be sponsoring seven grant awards,
averaging $75,000.00 each, to Higher Education Institutions that are
partnering with High Schools to expand Work-Based Learning (WBL).
Preliminary information is available at the following web site:
http://www.orau.gov/orise/educ.htm   The application package will be
available on August 26, with a grant submission deadline of September 27,
1999.  The awards are expected to be made by October 30, 1999.
