Fiona ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 12 May 1997 14:34:20 -0700 (PDT) From: James Naumann To: rlsell@u.washington.edu Subject: Medieval Food Rebecca Sellinger, I am part of a group that is doing an in-class presentation on an English story, "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight",that takes place during the time of King Arthur. As part of the presentation I would like to provide a sampling of what may have been eaten then (actually 500-1500 AD). Ideally it would be something fairly easy to make in large quantities as I would like to share it with the class. I was wondering if you would be able to provide me with any info or recipes for this endeavor. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated and, of course, you and your organization would be given credit for your assistance. Please let me know what you can do. Thank you. James Naumann .
