Message-ID: X-X-Sender: tmyers@mailer03.u.washington.edu MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Hi! The gifts and checks are coming in and Patty mentioned this morning that at least 50 people have responded to the Giving Tree project........... Great!!! As many of you are aware the Quarterly Potluck is scheduled for this coming Saturday night.... However, plans have changed. If you have been attending the weekly meetings you would be aware that instead of the potluck - we will be venturing North to Seattle and Broadway for dinner and a show. It's that time of year again when Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt pull together the infamous Holiday Survival Game Show - this year the show is back in the Broadway Performance Hall - on the Seattle Central Community College campus. After years of performances at the Theatre off Jackson in the International District - the team is back where they belong.... So, here's the scoop --- I need to hear back from you by Friday at noon - tickets are $20.00 each - If I can get your $'s by Friday - I will do my best to get tickets from Ticket Ticket Saturday morning.... The performance begins at 8pm - so, dinner at 5:30 at the Broadway Grill??? That would allow for the usual delays and a leisurely dinner .... The Performance Hall is a nice walk from the Grill - so very convenient. Hopefully things will quiet down on Capital Hill by Saturday and there won't be tear gas - and concussion grenades... and for those of you who are interested - yes, Timothy, Sparky, and I made it safely through last night..... Later! Tony .
