The distributor, Valleybrook Gardens, Ltd. in B.C., mislabeled the plant as being "tasty in soup" instead of indicating that the plant is poisonous. You can check out the FDA warning at their website: http://www.fda.gov Valleybrook Gardens says that plants were distributed to two places in Washington. Sixteen plants were sold to Skye Nursery in Shoreline (King County). All 16 plants are still at Skye and have been properly re-labeled. Plants were also sent to Emery Nursery in Lynnwood(Snohomish County). Five plants were sold at Emery. Emery believes that one customer bought all five plants. They are attempting to contact that customer. Snohomish and King Counties have been notified, as has Washington Dept. of Agriculture and Washington Poison Control.
