Getting involved is much like swimming. Either one starts slow by first geting ones feet wet, or you could always jump in head first. Saturday (thats might be today if it is the 26th when you read this) at about 2pm there is a Feast/Tourney being held (indoors) in the part of the City known as Ballard. it is being held at the Odd Fellows Lodge, which is on Market, about 1/2 a block west of the 7-11 or about 3.5 blocks west of 15th Ave.. Cost is $10, and that includes a medieval meal. If that is too soon or too sudden, the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month we have meetings in the U district. The next one is two weeks away. to attend a medieval event, one must make some effort at dressing in a medieval manor, however clothes can be borrowed on site for those who absolutly have nothing to wear. To attend a medieval feast it is very important to bring one's own plate, cup, and flat wear (spoons, knifes, forks are all OK), and a bowl. It's OK if new people don't bring entirely appropriate things... How else would we know they are new? If you are talking to someone you do not know, the most appropriate form of address is, M'lord, or M'lady Gordon Redthorn. HoursToKeep@aol.com wrote: > Hello!
