I have a student who will have been in the state for over a year, prior to fall quarter. She has never taken any classes, however, when she applied to was determined to be a non-resident as it had not been 12 months. As a result, when she completed she residency questionnaire, she stated her Purpose for Moving to Washington - was to go to school. Does she have to overcome the presumption when she has not attended during her first year? I know the answer already, and have advised her such, but she is not happy..... Imagine that......
