PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides assistance in functions which may include any of the following: 1.Performs drafting assignments, revises prints and prepares sketches. 2.Assists in researching, extracting, analyzing and compiling technical data. 3.Assists in the preparation of reports, graphs, proposals, studies and correspondence. 4.Assists in preliminary engineering analysis, conceptual design and engineering calculations. 5.Assists in and reviews project design and technical documents. 6.Assists in the preparation of contract/subcontract bid packages and material requisitions. 7.Assists with inspection of construction work for compliance with drawings, specifications and codes. 8.Provides administrative support to field or project personnel in non technical activities. 9.Assists in obtaining, compiling and analyzing statistical data for reports and studies. Performs mathematical calculations. 10.Researches, edits and analyzes information for the preparation of reports and business correspondence. 11.Prepares business forms and maintains activity logs Responsible for filing documents and reports. 12.Performs clerical/administrative duties to assist field personnel, such as composing correspondence and coordinating jobsite activities. JOB KNOWLEDGE: ..Skilled in oral and written communication. ..Enrolled in a degree program AND satisfactorily completed at least one year of study in engineering or a related technical academic discipline. ..Proficient in computer applications and operating systems.
