The changes that are discussed are only to the Medical Plan and in no way affect the dental or vision plans which are completely separate from the medical. The one point which seems to have confused many students is the exclusion with regard to eye examinations. The medical plan has never covered vision care. This is taken care of by the vision plan. I hope this will allay any concerns that benefits have been decreased in any way. It is certainly the opposite. For instance, one increased benefit the students may want to note is that the deductible has been decreased from $50 to $25 per accident and from $200 to $100 for the maximum deductible per year. Thank you for passing this information along to your students.
