I was riding with the guys Wednesday morning, we were doing the south lake loop. Almost at the end of the bike path, I was a little in front of the group. Apparently I hit a bump and ran into the wall. It knocked me out for a while. Tom and Eric were there and know the gory details. These guys from Gregg's were also there and made it their mission in life to ride back and tell everyone. I found out details from some guy at Gregg's who wasn't even on the ride. So, I was taken to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, where I gave everyone a hard time. I have a concussion and get tired kind of easily, but on the bright side, I got out of doing a presentation that day (I called my prof from the hosipital). As for amusing behavior after I came to, I don't remember. Apparently my big concern was my bike. All I remember from the scene was asking Eric what would happen to my bike. What happened to it was I broke my front rim at the seam. This just isn't my season, I guess. Thanks to the guys who were on the ride. Y'all took good care of me, and more importantly, my bike. I rode to school this morning, but my depth perception is a little screwy. Oh well, shit happens. Congrats to the Collegiate Nationals dudes and dudettes.
