I hope the implication is not that there are ZERO outstanding Classicists in Maryland! :) I know that there are so many people who deserve recognition. It is so important in this day and age to show students, teachers, and professors of Classics that we appreciate them and what they are doing for our field and for the world in general! You need not be a Marylander to nominate someone, though the nominees must attend school or teach in Maryland. Remember, the deadline is 23 February, and I hope to get numerous nominations.
