Although it is not official KA "policy", it has been my experience that a good faculty advisor should: --buy minor brothers & pledges alcohol --post bond for incarcerated members --participate (or at least oversee) the design and production of fake ID's --furnish quality prostitutes for formal parties --help members in their dealings with the registrar and college administration (e.g., altering transcripts, etc.) --provide "wheels" --participate in the selection of the chapter putz --officiate in "mock" burials of pledges and other hazing activities --take minutes at all committee and subcommitte meetings of the chapter --challenge faculty advisors at rival fraternities to a "dance-off" --wear KA tshirts and jerseys to all college social functions --grow a beard --re-enact, on a yearly basis, the famous 1856 Niagra Falls barrel-ride of Robert E. Lee --draft and have enacted a "little-known codicil" to your college's constitution. Hope this helps. .
