Roman porn to go on show

A COLLECTION of pornographic art from Pompeii and Herculaneum, which
has rarely seen the light of day since ancient times, is to be
permanently displayed in Naples.

It includes lewd amulets, oil lamps, paintings, reliefs and other
objects unearthed since the 18th century. They were excluded from public
exhibitions for most of the past 200 years to spare visitors
embarrassment, but will be unveiled later this month at the Naples
Archaeological Museum where they have been kept locked up. Bruce
