His Name Is Howard WU Howard attended the summer CPW with Mary, Leslie, Briana and I in Decorah Iowa. Howard has worked very hard over the summer as you will see with our Web Page and was appointed through his dedication to our chapter through the summer in his willingness to work with us. As you all are very aware of, school starts in a little over a week. In respect to this, we are starting to work on everything now and prepare for rush and the start of the quarter. Two major problems during the summer were 1.) The daily once again never returned a call when our desire to be in the freshman paper was continually turned down. Instead our space probably went to something more worthwile like what sex toys are favored in college or other b.s. like that. 2.) The Dawgs program does not want us helping with the move in process. We will be seen as intruders and looked down upon if we do. This is why next year we need to all sign up for it. :) but, Rush is still going to be successfull for We have very active students in the Resident dorm area and we are always good at gathering students while tabeling on the lawn and such. Anyways, as you begin to meet new people this quarter remember to invite them on over to APO and get them involved in the fun. Here are some important dates to put on your calendar. 10/6/97 First day of Rush. Mark when you can Table and sign people up. 10/7/97 First GBM of the YEar. Scheduling said that tuesdays were the day that the least amount of classes were scheduled. But, maybe the ratio does not fall well with our students. Well, I hope you have all enjoyed your relaxing and/or stressfull summers.
