I know about the symlink, and the devices are using group uucp, which is
fine since RedHat PPP dialer does work fine, but I when I try to the ppp
daemon manually, I am missing something essential to allow the user to
access the device as uid 0.  The pppd manpages touch on this, but I feel I
am missing something..... :|
