In the version I used to hear and tell on the playground, she tells the cop
to stand on this chair here and crane his head way around outside the window.

But, Bruce, be high priest to this poor acolyte for just a sec.  I'm
afraid I've missed the point of your story.

Or, as Molly Bloom, to whom you are no longer faithful, would put it,
"Oh, rocks.  Tell us in plain words."
