Yes, a number of Colorado worthies took part in that that lamentable action,
which is now to be commemorated in a National Monument as proposed by our
Northern Cheyenne Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell

Colorado volunteers' finest accomplishment, the Battle of Glorietta Pass in
1862, in which the Texans were prevented from taking over the Southwest.
