After all, in the 60s, the sponsors probably wouldn't have liked us to participate in civil rights marches... It is important for the public and our elected officials to see that we are more than just a few people crazy enough to ride our bikes, but rather that we are demanding our right to our share of the roads and to our share of transportation money spent. I could go on with the analogy by saying "I have a dream that cars and cyclists will share the roads with respect for each other..." but that would be carrying it too far... I feel Critical Mass can (but not always does) show the above. But of course not if we behave like hooligans during the Critical Mass, and in our everyday riding. See you on Friday. Jan .
