First, on a personal note, I didn't exactly graduate, so I'll be seeing you on campus this fall. Second, I pre-bought four reduced-price tickets to the Puyallup Fair -- www.thefair.com -- (which ends Sunday 9/24) and I still need to use them up. The admission tickets would be my treat. Would anyone be interested in accompanying me as my guests in the next few days? If so, email me directly at bradleyj@u.washington.edu Also, everyone is welcome to join in a volunteer work-party (planting, weeding, etc.) this Thursday 9/21 from 10am to 3pm at the Promontory Point Habitat Enhancement area of Magnuson Park -- http://www.seattleaudubon.org/conservation/pr_promontory_point.html I'm planning on doing this one -- unless I'm at the Fair. ;-) Near the same location, the Friends of the Seattle Public Library will be having their fall book sale at the old Sand Point Naval Station this weekend, 9/23-24 (Sat. 9-5pm; Sun. 11-4pm). http://www.spl.org/friends/booksale.html We helped them out last spring, though I'm not aware if they still need more help this time around. Whether you volunteer or not, it's still a great chance to buy a plethora of very inexpensive books -- and help the library by doing so. See you all soon, Brad .
