Hi All,

I've just now had the opportunity to add the interested individuals who
signed up at the Lowe lecture to this mailing list for the Transnational
Studies Project. (Better late than never?)

As such, I think this mailing list can probably best be used henceforth
for meeting and event announcements, general discussions about activities,
and for issues that pertain to the project as a whole. Emails about
administrative planning should be directed only to the core group members
and relevant individuals.

Quick update: For those who weren't able to make it to the last meeting,
we are working on a proposal for next year's series on "Migrations."
Kellie and myself (mostly Kellie at this point, though I hope to be
contributing in a week or so) are writing a document to synthesize the
really great suggestions we collected at the meeting. I think next year is
going to be pretty kick ass.
