You are all invited and welcome to attend! More information about the conference and how to register are forthcoming in a separate email. Judith Ramaley, president of University of Vermont and a national leader on the "engaged university" will be the conference closing keynote speaker. She has graciously agreed to spend the afternoon with us on the UW campus. Please mark your calendars for the afternoon of 3/30. The tentative agenda is as follows: 2 - 4 pm - meeting with individuals involved in the Partnership NW proposal - to provide feedback on the proposal and engage us in a discussion with us about strategies and structures for institutionalizing service-learning and community partnerships in research-1 universities like ours. 4 - 5 pm - presentation by Judith Ramaley on the future of the engaged university, open to the campus community and the community at large 5 - 7 pm - reception Please feel free to share this announcement with interested colleagues.
