To everyone on my address list:

I received a virus that is sent automatically thru the messenger and by the address book whether an e-mail was sent or not.  If you receive this from Me, Carrie Eller, you are in my computer in our address file.  This virus is jdbgmgr.exe and is not detected by Norton or McAfee antivirus.  It stays dormant for 14 days in your system before it damages the system.  Here are the steps to get rid of it!

Go to START, Find (or Search) option

In the Files/Folders options, write the name jdbgmgr.exe

Be sure you are searching your hard drive (usually C), click "find now"

The virus has a little bear as an icon with the name. DO NOT OPEN IT!

Right click the icon to delete it.  It will then go to the recycle bin.  Go to the recycle bin, find the file, and right click again to delete it there as well, emptying your bin.

IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS ON YOUR COMPUTER, YOU MUST CONTACT ALL PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK(S) SO THEY CAN ERADICATE IT IN THEIR OWN SYSTEMS.
