He was discharged July 25th 1997, in Texas with WA as his home of record. He got a TX driver's license since that is where he was at the time of being discharged. He came back to WA in July 97 and lived with his mother. Left for IL to pick up his vehicle he had stored there. Got vehicle licensed in IL. He said he stayed in WA until mid Sept 97 and then left to travel the U.S. Currently is in TX. While in the military and since being discharged has kept mothers address for mail. I know the manual says that he has one year to return to WA with the intent to be domiciled in WA. To me, just having stayed with mother for maybe 1 1/2 months and keeping an address here does not qualify as intent to be domiciled. I would like to get a consensus on this. Please give me your opinions.
