UWCGIA is an organization that meets when it needs to. It sounds like that is pretty soon (despite it being summer and all). uwcgia has had (for many moons) a mail list operated by Fred Nick at csscr. It C&C doesn't know about it, so much the pity... We have used uwcgia@csscr as a relector, but could not sign up ourselves. Perhaps the other method would be more advisable, though we still ned to purge the students who disappear periodically... I guess we need to figure out when to meet so that we can figure out how to communicate with each otehr, what modes of communication we need, and all that stuff. There will be issues related to software, platforms, labs, grants and more. I also want to hold an ellection since all offices except for President of UWCGIA have been vacant for some time... Nick C.
