This work can be performed as an hourly employee or as a research assistant-ship. To some degree, hours can be flexible if necessary. Aspects of this work will have significant research potential. The work will be as part of a team including engineers and health researchers. The student will assist in development and operation of a laboratory diesel exhaust exposure system, which will include engine controls, exhaust management including exhaust dilution system, chamber conditioning, emissions monitoring, and data acquisition and recording using LabView. Interested students should have experience with programming, ideally (though not necessarily) using LabView software. Prior research experience is also an asset.
