The main objective of the program should be to establish linkages between community members who are directly affected by adverse environmental conditions and researchers and health care providers to develop research strategies to address environmental health problems. Proposals must demonstrate collaboration between a research scientist, a community primary health care provider, and a member of a community organization. There is close to $1.5 million available for this program. The application deadline is August 18, 2000.
