Do you find yourself contemplating graduate school instead of trying to find a job? If you can answer yes to either of these questions, it shouldn't be a surprise. The Pacific Northwest is experiencing one of the tightest job markets in the country. Don't despair, there is still hope. The economy is slowly recovering and according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), "About a third of employers say they will hire more new graduates than last year." Where are the new job openings? NACE's Job Outlook 2002 reveals, "government/nonprofit organizations project a 20.5 percent increase in college hiring for the current academic year." So as you look over the list of companies and organizations attending our Career Fair (April 23rd and 24th), don't overlook the government agencies and non-profit organizations.
