If you are coming from the north cross over to the east side of Montlake and head south, then cross back over Montlake. The Montlake Bridge is not affected by the sidewalk closure. In order to avoid the construction, and if you commute from the north, via the University District, or from the east, such as Wallingford or Ballard, bicyclists and pedestrians may cut through the back of the Health Sciences complex. This path will put commuters a few feet north of the bridge. The HOV/bus lane will also be closed during construction.
