Just get on 520, eastbound, and exit onto West Lake Sammamish Pkwy southbound. Then follow the directions on the web page. This is the easiest way to get there. If you miss the W Lk Samm Pkwy exit, just drive two more miles to Redmond Way, a.k.a. 202 or Redmond-Fall City Road. You'll see the 'drome on your right just before the exit. Take a right onto Redmond Way, then the right fork (E Lk Samm. Pkwy), then a hard right on NE 65th. You'll just follow the main road in the park past a few soccer fields. Marymoor is pretty big, so the 'drome isn't easy to see from the road inside the park. There is, however, a public climbing wall next to the 'drome parking lot, near some office buildings. Head for that and you'll be fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: james keith lingwood To: Craig Cc: Sent: Friday, February 14, 2003 2:13 PM Subject: craig's clinic ride info > everyone, > > meet at the north end of the hub tomorrow morning to ride to the > velodrome. we are rolling out at 9:30 SHARP. > > if you miss us, head north on the burke gilman trail for 25 miles. then > you will run into marymoore park. that is where the velodrome is. > > dress warm, there will be times when you have to stand around for a minute > or two, and it is not very warm out yet. > > see you tomorrow, > jimmy > > ps if you are driving, you'll have to find directions on your own. i > can't remmeber the street names and don't want to ge you lost. > > > > On Fri, 14 Feb 2003, Craig wrote: > > > Hello Team, > > > > I found out that the location at Magnuson Park is $150 for the day, so we will keep the original plan to meet at the Velodrome at 11am for tomorrow's clinic. The forecast is 60% rain chance beginning at 9am, and if that is the case, rain will cancel this clinic. We cannot ride on the velodrome if it is raining, but we can ride on the apron area below the banking and do paceline work if the rain is light. I will be at the Drome at 11am and you can call me to check on rain status/cancellation at 206-938-1091. > > > > Cheers, > > > > Craig > > .
