There will be a short meeting at 11:30 a.m. TODAY, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15 in
The Commons.  

We will be discussing a request to help sponsor a speaker on Monday,
November 18.  The speaker is Marat Moore, a former coal miner and author
of Women In The Mines:   Stories of Life and Work.  She will be discussing
the lives and work of women coal miners from 1920-1994, including the
issues of sexual harassment, solidarity-building, racism, union activism,
aging and changes in gender roles at the workplace and in domestic life.  

Her talk and slide show will be Monday, November 18 at 4:30 p.m. in room
701, Perkins.  

Bring your lunch today and join us in The Commons at 11:30.
