Professor Raubitschek received his award on March 30, 1999 at Stanford from the Austrian consul in Los Angeles. Professor Gruen will also receive his award from the Austrian consul in Los Angeles, at an award ceremony in Berkeley to be held later this spring. Professor Badian will travel to the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC for his award ceremony on May 19.
