The meeting went very well. I've submitted a letter of intent to the

Subject: letter of intent


Hi Margit,

The Transnational Studies Project will be submitting a proposal for the
first round of funding in November. I hope this email will suffice as a
letter of intent.

Currently, we are organizing our activities for this academic year,
including working to bring a second speaker for the _Transnational Times,
Transnational Literacies_ series. Over the next few weeks, the core group
will assess how our present activities and those of the past few months
are shaping the trajectory of the Project's focalizations for next year.
The proposal to be submitted in November will thus continue our engagement
with "transnational literacies" as well as refine the conceptualization to
direct concrete research questions. We are in the process of debating the
form of next year's activities (speaker series, colloquium, etc).
