Upon which Richard Ujvary resurrected some boogie-woogie lyrics of the '40's in which the terms *are* connected, but apparently "hoi polloi" was correctly understood: You'll hear piano played by Stacy Trent: He's the famous boogie gent... You'll have a reservation For some daybreak syncopation. That's where the hoity-toy Meets the hoi polloi. Mr. Ujvary attributed this song ("Between 18th and 19th on Chestnut Street") to Bob Crosby and His Bobcats.
