Please pass this posting along to colleagues in interior design and architecture as it is, we believe, the first conference focusing on service learning in this specialized area: The Foundation for Long Term Care (FLTC) is pleased to announce the first national conference on service learning in design for the aging to be held in New York City on June 23. It is a one-day conference with costs supported by the CNS, so the total cost will be under $50, including meals and extensive handouts. There is a further discounted rate for a team of a faculty member and an elder-care staff agency member who register together. We will send a follow-up announcement later with more details. Space is limited, so to be sure you or a colleague receive the first mailing in late March, please send a request for a brochure to me personally. Please do not hit "reply" as your response will go the entire list serve. Thank you. Carol R.
