If you haven't had a chance to vote/comment yet, please do so. It really only takes a minute. The link is: http://www.ce.washington.edu/STF/ The STF committee has access to a web page summarizing this vote and displaying all the comments from students. They will certainly look at that input before deciding whether to fund this proposal. We must show proof of student input and support in order to get this proposal funded. We're asking for 50 new Dell computers to replace the 30 old ACI and GIC computers currently in the lab. We're also asking that these new Dells come with 18" flat panel monitors and optical mice. And we're asking for the monitors and mice of the 25 existing Dell computers to be replaced with new 18" flat panel monitors and optical mice. Finally we're asking for a digital projector for students to use in group discussions. The total amount of this funding request is $100k! There is no guarantee that the STF committee will fund our proposal. They could decide to fund all, part, or none at all. Proof of student support will certainly increase our chances to get this equipment for you. Thanks and everyone keep their fingers crossed!
