My meeting at FRAEC was, I think, very valuable. A good number present (abt. 25), receptive, Carol Vipperman spoke supportively and pointed out to people her degree is from here. I left some extra copies of my sheet so they can possibly get them in other hands. The range of companies represented is broad--Oskar Karok of Seafirst Bank was there, a couple of people from travel agencies, including Mutual Travel, one of the CISB students who works for USBank, the fellow who is importing the Russian motorcycles, some lawyers, etc. One of those most interested was a Bill Robinson, of Monahan and Robinson; I gathered he had already been doing something or thinking about it in order to help us. One person was from an outfit called Russian Cultural Exchange (I forget his name); he took courses with Treadgold here years ago. I think we really do have a clientele out there that is happy to go to bat for us. I must be off to a meeting at CCSI. Will be back in all afternoon. You might want to post this on the listproc, just so people will know what has happened vis-a-vis FRAEC. Dan W. .
