The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice
at the University of Washington will offer the following short courses this
summer:

Applying Geographic Information Systems to Defining and Solving Public
Health Problems
Faculty: Richard E. Hoskins, PhD, MPH and Subhesh Lele, PhD
Time:  Offered twice: July 5-7 and July 10-12, both 9 a.m. 5 p.m.
Cost:  $575 per session, includes personal copy of Maptittude software

Introduction to Epidemiology
Faculty: James L. Gale, MD, MS and Mark Oberle, MD, MPH
Time:  1-3:30 p.m., July 10-14
Cost:  $200

Management Skill Seminar
Faculty: Jeremy Sappington, MSPH
Time: 9 a.m - 4 p.m., July 13-14
Cost:  $200

Public Health Demographics
Faculty: Christianne Hale, PhD, MPH
Time: 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m., July 5-7
Cost:  $200


Tuition increases $25 per course on June 1.
