These camps are sometimes good, sometimes not so good -- since it would be free with the assistance the NCCA is offering, it might be worthwhile. The general information was sent out via e-mail a couple of weeks ago. We were recently able to create a grant program that would financially help those that wish to attend. We will be able to offer, at a maximum, five grants of $600 each to assist with the cost of attending the camp. The camp fee is $320, but the individual must also get to Colorado Springs to attend. If the total cost including travel is less than $600, the individual will receive money for the total cost only.=20 I know this may be difficult due to school being in session for most, as well as overlapping with Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals. Hopefully this will allow those who wanted to attend but were restricted by finances the opportunity to attend.=20 If you plan on applying for this grant, please drop me a line before Oct 1 so I can make sure our Coaching Department is aware that you wish to attend. If you have specific questions about the camp, please call Mike Niederpruem at 719/ 578-4581. If you have questions about the grant, please contact me, either e-mail or 719/ 578-4581.=20 This camp is also open to athletes in other sports, so feel free to spread the information to friends you may have in other sports that might also have the opportunity to attend. However, the grants will be awarded to our collegiate women first!=20 Below you will find the application. It can also be printed from our website at www.usacycling.org.
