How do we put together academic methodologists with in the trenches docs that have the pts to study? How do we get funding for the above? I would love to believe we will deliver and resolve these questions, but I am pessimistic having tried for 7years just to affect question #1. Everyone says I can't do it, I do not have those skills, I do not know how to set up such a study? Can we put forth a M/S research initiative and plan the top 10 must do trials of the decade? PASSOR/AAPMR could work together to establish priorities. We could use the Amit's to help us in the trenches. Funding and design are secondary issues. First we need to target our goals/needs and then to design then to places to perform the studies and fund them. What does everyone think about establishing a top 10? Let me have some ideas to take to PASSOR. Paul Dreyfuss .
