The most recent (and widest-ranging---including translations of non-English-language poems) is Nina Kossman, ed., "Gods and Mortals: Modern Poems on Classics Myths" (OUP, 2001). Then there is Deborah de Nicola, ed., "Orpheus and Company: Contemporary Poems on Greek Mythology" (Univ. Press of New England, 1999). All the poems here are English-language, mostly American. Though not a collection, there is also Gjertrud Schnackenberg's "The Throne of Labdacus" (FSG, 2000). David Lupher Classics Dept. Univ. of Puget Sound .
