Greetings Population Health Interested Person Juliet VanEenwyk is one of the people responsible for putting the Social Determinants of Health part into the 2002 Health of Washington State report. I spoke to her group in Olympia, she spoke to the State Health Conference in Wenatchee using some of my slides, and got a standing ovation for suggesting among other things, income redistribution. She will be giving the Epi Grand Rounds Jan 7 at 3:30 in K 069 and has agreed to have a potluck dinner afterwards (after 5 pm) in H 670. I think we can build useful alliances here. What with the feds now talking about population health, and the same at the state and county levels, we're on the radar screen! IF YOU CAN COME, can you PLEASE REPLY TODAY, Monday, to me.
