Just wanted to let you all know that I got together yesterday with the secretary of GPSS (a swell guy, very supportive) and put together a resolution to bring before the senate which will address our concerns about what happens to us as students if the dept is eliminated. As soon as I have a copy of the resolution handy I'll post it to the list. This is not to say that I am giving up hope, I just want to make sure that no matter what happens, we will still be able to finish our degrees, preferably with the current departmental structure still in place. Normally the administration is very responsive to concerns brought forward by GPSS, so I'm hoping they'll respond to this one positively as well. I'll keep you posted. Sunny .
