Subject: Environmental Education Conference, Vancouver, B.C., August 15-19


A conference, "Weaving Connections:  Cultures and Environments", on 
environmental education and the peoples of the world, is being held in 
Vancouver, B.C., August 15-19, 1997.  It also features annual meetings of 
The Canadian Network for Environmental Education and Communication, and 
the Northwest Aquatic and Marine Educators and the Environmental Youth 
Conference.  

Keynote speakers include Milton McClaren, Eugene Richard Atleo and Daniel 
Quinn.  There will be numerous workshops and related activities.

For further information, check out the bulletin board outside the Student 
Services Office in the School of Fisheries Building.
