Brown (where I don't think the college has a separate name), Yale College, Columbia College, Barnard College, Harvard College are certainly in cities. And there is a liberal arts college at New York University, although I don't know if it has a separate name. In Hartford CT I would mention Trinity College. In Providence RI perhaps Providence College, unless you are excluding schools with religious affiliations. I suggest that it would be useful if you defined your question a little more. J.F. Gannon .
