It *is* sad, very sad, indeed, as sad as the case of another woman condemning her child to an ignorance so extreme that she isn't even allowed to know that a loving God might really exist, that absolute moral standards might also exist (even if only a minority entertain them), or that the myth that life arose spontaneously from pre-biotic chemical "soup" has exactly zero empirical evidence in its favor. Now, I will get off my soapbox and go bake a pagan baby into my bread.
